A: As much as I wish there was a simple answer to this, every project I do is different. I can give a range estimate once I know a few things about what you're looking for, but factors include the materials used, the size, ease of transport, amount of text and/or detail, marketing value to the client, and so on. Q: I am located far from Los Angeles. Can I still commission you to paint my wall?
A: Absolutely. I love to travel and can work out all the details with you about on-site work. In many cases, things like chalkboards, multi-panel murals, and signage can be shipped right to you. But on the occasions where you need a piece done in-person, I'm ready to come to you!

Q: Do you work alone? Is it just Julia?
A: I'm a one-woman operation! On projects that are larger or more involved, I may have an assistant or partner with me. But I am the sole proprietor of Julia Letters LLC, and am there for you throughout the project.

A: You can start by contacting me with what you're looking for, and then we can ideally have a face-to-face meeting or video call to go over details and get to know one another. All that's needed to start the project is a signed contract (depending on the scope of the work), and a 50% deposit. I can work out installment plans for the remainder if your project is a big investment.

Q: Is all your art original?
A: 95% of my work is original designs. All of my digital art is hand-drawn on a tablet, which is about as close to pen and paper as you can get. While there are times when I am commissioned to paint a previously designed graphic, the work is still done by hand. I prepare many of my own surfaces, and I go through the design process with my clients to make sure you're in the loop the whole time.
